Ok I don't have a lot of time, so this will be rather short!
I left on Thursday the 13th of Feb., my flights were from Zurich to Paris to Atlanta to Santiago,all of them were pretty good! I didn't sleep very much, just an hour or so but it was alright!
When I got to Santiago they informed me that my suitcase was still in Atlanta. Well I sure was excited about that! Then I walked through customs and they were all there to pick me up!
Ok here's what happened yesterday in short version:
We came home, they showed me around, the house is really small but I really like my room and I get my own tiny bathroom!
Once I had unpacked what little stuff I had, I played some game station with the boys, I was pretty bad and the boys thought that was really funny!
Later we went to a party, because the grandfather turned 91 yesterday. Everyone was really nice! But I didn't really pick up on much that happened, I just tried not to fall asleep!
When we got home I pretty much went straight to bed and slept for a solid 12 hours. This morning after breakfast I figured out the Internet password and then we went to the mercado. It was pretty dirty and there was lots of garbage, Chileans don't really care about any of that though...
My familia is very worried about feeding me, they think I'm going to starve because I don't eat meat. : )
When we got home we had lunch and my suitcase got here!!! YAY!!!
Now I repacked, because we're about to leave for the playa. I won't have Internet there, so don't freak out if you don't here anything from me for a week or so!
Their Spanish is really fast and a little weird, but if I concentrate and they slow down, I can understand most of what's going on!
